This is a list of various maps I've made using Google Map for sightseeing use. It's easy enough to google for your own results, but it's also helpful to have some dedicated maps to help make it easier to look for things. The embedded map is just a preview, to fully utilize the maps and all their layers please open the map in Google Map app or on a computer browser.

Animal Experience Maps
last updated Dec 4, 2017
A map I created to pinpoint good places for general tourists to visit to see animals in a relatively natural environment in Japan. Those that likely practice animal cruelty will not be on this map. Those places that should not be disturbed by regular tourists will not be on this map. Please do not disturb or feed wild animals, or in anyway make them more habituated to humans than they already are. Wild animals deserve our respect, not our handling. Seasonal Locations in Green.
Also because of the nature of wild animals, sometimes it's possible animals might not be there, so there's no guarantee that they must be there. Like Jigokudani Monkey Park, they generally rest further up into the mountains and only come down in search of food, so the guardians of the area do occasionally sprinkle food in the snow around the onsen. Same for the eagles at Akan International Crane Center in Kushiro, Hokkaido. Every winter day at 2pm it's feeding time.

Fureai Japan
last updated Oct 26, 2016
This map has all the zoos, aquariums, ranches, petting zoos, and animal cafes to visit all over Japan, separated by regions to break up the list into smaller sections.
Do note: Everyone has different acceptances of the definition of ethical treatment. Places I've seen first hand the mistreament of animals are marked with a red X. If you have an opinion on this, contact me privately. Public trolling will be deleted.

Japanese Supermarkets
at the moment it's incomplete, but I hope to complete it soon
This is a list of cheap and semi-cheap supermarkets in Japan. Supermarkets should be an immensely helpful tool for people with a budget, people renting a house/apartment with a kitchen, people stocking up for camping, and people who have dietary needs looking to make their own food. Lets put it this way, a canned coffee costing 100yen in a convenience store can cost as low as 45yen in a supermarket.
Take a look at this older article from TokyoCheapo about cheap supermarkets in Japan.
