Sick of Disney? Anime movies can provide a great alternative for young viewers, opening up new cultures and ideas. However, a lot of anime isn’t for children. Here are five wonderful and age-appropriate anime films that little kids will love.
5. The Cat Returns
3. Kiki’s Delivery Service
2. Wolf Children
1. My Neighbor Totoro
Brian goes into detail on his article and includes more recommendations.
What are your favourite anime suitable for children? Mine's definitely My Neighbor Totoro, and maybe The Tale of Princess Kaguya or Only Yesterday tied for 2nd place. I'd like to add Pom Poko but it depends on whether the culture i'm surrounded in can accept talking about certain magical body parts on Japanese raccoon dogs.
